Cover: It was an early start from Hornsby to get ‘down South’ for SJ1 Down Tilt Train, which departed Sydney at 0645 during the week, and 0647 on the weekend. Bathed in glorious morning light, power car XP2000 leads the Tilt Train around the curve near the top of the climb into Exeter. This photo clearly shows the difference between the non-tilting XPT power car and tilting X2000 rolling stock. Sunday 4 June 1995. Col Gilbertson
