Description
The 2025 calendar is in the regular, double-sided format, twice the value, with thirteen steam and thirteen diesel colour photos, from over five decades of railway photography.
The steam cover features: 3501 hauling a set of American end-platform suburban carriages working hard climbing the grade known as Hawkmount, between Dora Creek and Awaba on the Short North mainline, forming No.25x all-stations passenger service on 29 April 1967.
The diesel cover features: No.9881 empty flour train as it passes through the hamlet of Locksley, between Lithgow and Bathurst on 7 August 2005, behind CLP9/CLF7/CLF3. Between November 2003 and November 2008, the Australian Railroad Group (ARG) held the Manildra grain and flour haulage contract in New South Wales this representative of one of those services.
