Description
Sydney’s Metropolitan Railway System 1855-2017 is now available!
The diagrammatic layout of the map explains the development of passenger railway lines and stations in Sydney from 1855 when the first line from Redfern to Parramatta opened. The map features:
- all passenger lines and stations within the current Sydney Trains network
- information on the dates of opening and closing of lines and/or sections of lines
- opening/closing dates of each station in the network, including dates of reopening
- former station names and dates on which names changed
- A1 (841mm x 594mm) on archival quality paper for convenient framing
