This book covers the Murraylands railway line that linked Peebinga to Karoonda and the rest of the SAR broad gauge system. The railway is covered from its inception right through to its closure and what remains today. Included are several diagrams (including one for each station on the line) and while there are very few early photographs surviving the line is well documented from 1960 to the present day. The social aspect of the line is also covered and the hardships endured by farmers and railway personnel alike.
